I now have a cover and a release date for my debut historical romance novel, Reluctantly in Love. It will be released for electronic download on February 15th, 2011 through amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com. More information and an excerpt with be forthcoming but for now I wanted to share this exciting bit of news.
For the cover, which was designed by the ever talented Deeply Dapper, we decided to try something different than most of the historical romance covers that are out there right now. We wanted to mix up something a bit lighter but still give it a romantic appeal.

ReplyDeletePenny-Wow, thank you! I'm so happy with the style I chose for the cover, even though it is very non-traditional. We are trying to figure out the facebook sidebar thing and hope to have it up soon, but I am very untech-savy and rely on my husband for all digital help! No blurb is posted yet but I will have one up in the next couple of days along with an excerpt from it. I'll be very excited (and nervous) to hear what you have to say as this is my first attempt at this.
ReplyDeleteOkay, let's dumb it down for the over 50 club...what does it mean when the book is available for electronic download?
ReplyDeleteSteve-It means that it won't be published into a physical book but can be downloaded onto a Nook, Kindle, IPad, IPod, or even opened with windows and printed out at home as a document. And don't worry about it being age, my 27 year old friend just asked the same question on Facebook. Plus I had no idea until Kris told me.
